The purpose of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. shall be to open doors of opportunity to the Latinas of our community. Our primary focuses are academic excellence and meeting the needs of Latina women in higher education. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. also promotes the advancement of Latinas through various campus activities and community services and provides an environment for personal growth within a unit of sisterhood. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc.’s priorities, however, will be placed upon academic excellence and community service.

We are individually driven by academic excellence in higher education and collectively act as an advocate for the accessibility of education for all, especially within the Latino community. We actively provide our sisters and our communities with tools and resources to help achieve their academic goals.

We are passionate about service. We understand that we have been given opportunity, and there is no greater form of gratitude than to provide service to those in need. Through our service we continue to promote the advancement of women and strive to make a difference within the Latino community.

We are an organization of diverse women who are driven by academic excellence, passionate about service and committed to the belief of standing strong together. We’re a mighty network of resources, always ready and willing to extend a hand to our sisters, our community and our cause.
Our mission is to promote and foster Latina leaders through educational and professional development, relationship building and community involvement. Our intent is to provide our members exposure to resources for continued growth.
